fire
FOGO (FIRE) is a short film with no comprehensible dialogues, expressionist photography and experimental language. The story is about the mysteries surrounding the inexplicable death of a man, creating a network of potential murderers. FOGO has Gus Van Sant, David Lynch, the American Noir and the German Expressionism as its aesthetic references. The characters speak in a nonexistent language that has been created by the actors during the shooting, therefore there are no translations or subtitles – the dialogues are random sounds and expressions.
